At this time, state law limits disclosure of registered sex

to schools, churches, youth groups or the public. The release of information is
determined by the District Court after a risk assessment of the offender to
commit another offense is determined as low, moderate or high. The District
Court can then authorize the release of information by the County Sheriff, Chief
of Police, Designee or the Division of Criminal Investigation. |
